Introduction
This guide explains the new user role for updating Security settings when adding or editing charge stations via the EV Portal.
Permission overview
Each setting in the Security section of the “Create Charge Station” and “Edit Charge Station” pages has been assigned its own user permission. See below for a visual guide:

Assigning new permissions
These new permissions can be assigned to users through a new user role in the EV Portal, the new Security Manager role. This role has all three above permissions enabled. By assigning a user the Security Manager role, they will be able to update the Security settings in the Create Charge Station and Edit Charge Station pages. This role assignment should be handled by Tenant Admins.
The Security Manager role only has the above three permissions, nothing else. Roles such as Admin or CPO Manager are still required to create or update Charge Stations, having the Security Manager role alone is not enough. Please do not update other roles to give Security settings permissions, these should be exclusive to the Security Manager role.
