Configuring Charge Stations for Smart Charging
This guide will help you set up your charge stations correctly for smart charging functionality.
Prerequisites
- Check if your charge station is listed on the compatible charge stations list
- Make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your charge station
Configuration Steps
1. Basic Requirements
Before beginning the configuration process, verify these essential conditions:
- Ensure your charge station is connected via OCPP 1.6
- Deactivate any local load balancing functionality on the charge station
2. Configuration Parameters
Set the following parameters based on your charge station type:
AC Charge Stations
- MeterValueSampleInterval: Set to 300
- MeterValuesSampledData: Must include either:
- Energy.Active.Import.Register,Current.Import,Current.Offered
- Energy.Active.Import.Register,Current.Import.L1,Current.Import.L2,Current.Import.L3,Current.Offered
DC Charge Stations
- MeterValueSampleInterval: Set to 30
- MeterValuesSampledData: Must include:
- Energy.Active.Import.Register,Power.Active.Import,Power.Offered

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues or need to test a new charge station:
- Contact support at support@greenflux.com for assistance
- Integration testing takes approximately one hour for new charge stations
- Keep firmware updated to ensure compatibility
Note: Do not add untested charge stations to a smart charging group as proper functioning cannot be guaranteed.
