Charge Station Fields

When the description includes 'Configuration field', it means that it comes from the Configuration and is not editable via the 'edit Charge Station' functionality (but might be editable via a Configuration update)

Display Name

This is an optional field for internal administration.

There are different ways to use it:

  1. Additional Location information, e.g. Amsterdam City Council (especially useful when the Location name is just an address)
  1. Charger model information

This information could also be used with Custom Groups or Charge Station Notes as well.

CPO

The current CPO the Charge Station is assigned to. Note it is the 'Name' and not the 'External ID' of the CPO. In case the Charge Station was migrated, additional information is shown.

CPO Contract
Installation Date

This is an optional internal reference field

COMs Protocol

OCPP protocol used by the charger (if sent by the charger)

Feature (Configuration field)

Currently only has 'Remote Manageable' as option. It means that it is possible to remotely update configuration or update firmware (as opposed to a technician having to visit the site)

Serial Number (Configuration field)

Serial Number of the Charge Station (non-editable)

Grid Connection ID
Manufacturer (Configuration field)

The manufacturer of the Charge Station (non-editable)

Model (Configuration field)

The model of the Charge Station (non-editable)

IMSI

aka 'International mobile subscriber identity'. Is a number that uniquely identifies every user of a cellular network

ICCID

Unique ID of the SIM card. This can be useful to look up additional connectivity information of the Charge Station in the Communication Provider's tooling.

Contactless Payment

Disabled or enabled. When enabled the Payment Terminal ID, Pre-Auth amount and Tap-To-Stop functionality will be visible here.

Controller/firmware (Configuration field)

The current firmware version. For more information see Charge Station Firmware Update

Default Tariffs

The wholesale tariff code

Reimbursement tariff

The Reimbursement tariff code

External ID

The External ID of the Charge Station. Can only be changed via configuration change if the manufacturer approves it

Directions to Location

Instructions for Driver on how to find Location (can be edited on Location page)

Floor

The Floor of the Charge Station (mainly for parking garages)

Charge Station Type

Charge Station Type is a mandatory field to categorize a charge station. Exact categorization and application is up to every CPO e.g. definition of business vs public charger. This field is also important to processing of CDRs and VAT rate handling (for the case of Home chargers). The field will be included in platform API CDRs.

  1. Home Charger
  1. Business Charger (this can also be interpreted as a Semi-Public charger)
  1. Public Charger
Status

Enabled, Faulted or Unknown. Relates to the last OCPP status received from the Charge Station

Connectivity State

Online or offline or unknown

Charger State
Stock

No data (location, EVSE, CDRs) is shared with roaming partners.

But CDRs are still recorder, but not shared with external roaming partners.

Production

The locations, charge stations and EVSE data is shared with roaming partners with actual status (available, charging).

CDR's are also shared with roaming partners.

Deprecated

The EVSE's are shared with roaming partners with the status 'Removed', which means those other parties will probably remove them from their data bases.

  • CDRs are no longer shared with roaming partners, but
  • CDRs are still processed , in the sense that they are mapped in GreenFlux platform.
💡

When the state is set to either Stock or Deprecated state, since we do not share the CDRs with roaming partners, it is plausible that the eMSP will not accept to pay for a CDR they are not aware of. For this reason, and on the scope of our GreenFlux managed roaming service, we won't be crediting the CPOs for these sessions, since we are not reselling it to the eMSPs (we don't share the CDR with them). It is up to the CPO to have its CPO infrastructure with the correct states in place.

This means that in someone's app or map a charge station may be invisible because its status is in stock or deprecated. That status could be incorrect,  if it is incorrect you can change it by editing the charge station details and setting the correct status.

Similarly, in someone's app or map, a charge station may be visible when it no longer exists. In this case, either an update hasn't been sent or received by this other party, or it hasn't been picked up by them yet,
