Step 2: Select the CPO Network, Contract and CPO

  1. CPO Network is pre-selected to ‘GreenFlux CPO Network’ and should in most scenarios be the only option.
  1. A CPO Contract is usually setup when operating in multiple countries. Changing the CPO contract can change the EVSE-IDs.
  1. Select the target CPO
  1. Select the target Location

CPO Contract validation

A CPO contract is typically created when an organization has assets in multiple countries or requires a separate network for other reasons. Most single-country organizations operate with just one CPO Contract.

Migrating across CPO Contracts can lead to EVSE-ID changes with significant consequences. This action is non-reversible.

Since the initial Location is soft-deleted and Locations can be duplicated, moving back requires manual work—a situation that should be avoided.

Prerequisites and known limitations

Duplicate locations

Each location address must be unique within a CPO. If you attempt to move a location to a CPO where the exact address already exists, the migration will fail. Note: The EvPortal currently does not display a specific error code for this situation.

CPO Custom Group

Custom groups can be created under both the 'Master group' and a CPO. When a Location moves between CPOs, its existing CPO-level Custom Group becomes invalid.

Custom groups under the Master group level will be migrated.

Users will receive a warning if a Custom Group is part of a Location.

QR code for CPO Contract migration

During a CPO Contract migration, the EVSE ID changes because the three-letter CPO Contract ID (e.g., NL-XXX) is modified.

As a result, existing QR codes will no longer link to the correct EVSE-ID.

Contact GreenFlux Support or CSM to perform a manual QR code refresh.
