Locations can have two different statuses: Published or Unpublished. The "Published" status determines whether the location is shared and visible to roaming networks.

Platform APIs
For the Platform APIs (Locations, CDRs, Sessions, MeterValues, Notificatons), this data is shared regardless of the published state.
The Location includes the published state to indicate whether it is published or not

Roaming
If a Location is set to unpublished (published = false), then this Location will not be shared to Roaming networks.
If a Location is set to published, then the Location will be shared if there is a roaming agreement with other networks. If a CPO has a closed network and not roaming agreements, then this published state will have no impact on roaming.
Charge Assist
Charge Assist is the Mobile Application and API by Greenflux.
Locations will not be available via Charge Assist unless they are published.
Note: Locations are only visible in Charge Assist if they have at least one charge stations.
