machines, EV-Chargers, parking ticket machines and more.
GreenFlux's Payter Apollo Implementation
The Payter Apollo terminal supports a variety of features, though GreenFlux's implementation is still in progress. Below are the features currently available for our CPOs who wish to enable Payter Apollo:
- Supported Payment Methods: Accept payments via RFID cards, debit/credit cards from supported card schemes, and digital wallets
- Payment Flow and UI: Currently, we support only .
one standardized flow and user interface
- Kiosk Mode: Link multiple chargers to a single payment terminal.
- Tariff Display: Render and display applicable ad-hoc tariffs on the screen. This features ensures compliance with AFIR regulation.
- Pre-Authorization Flow: Authorize payment sessions using a secure pre-authorization process.
- Receipt QR Codes: Display QR codes for easy access to digital receipts.
Note: Our receipt generation feature is currently a work in progress. In the meantime, CPOs can link to their own receipt server by providing the URL, which we can hardcode into the system. For assistance, please contact your GreenFlux representative.
Supported Payment Methods
Payter Apollo accepts RFID payments, all major credit/debit cards issued from the payment schemes below, NFC, and digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Payment Flow & UI
Starting charging session
Driver start session >> pick EVSE >>Display tariffs>> Select 'Start' >> Pre-authorization request >> Taps payment card >> session starts.
Ending charging session
To end the session, driver must go through the same flow as starting the session and must present the same payment card to stop the session.
Pre-authorization Flow
The pre-authorization flow in EV charging is a secure process that ensures a customer has sufficient funds available before they start charging session. The pre-authorization amount is temporarily held at the start of a charging session. You can configure the pre-authorization amount on the charger level in our EV portal. When charging ends, the final amount based on actual usage is charged, and any remaining held funds are released. This process ensures secure and accurate billing.
Note: We do not allow incremental authorization just yet. The pre-authorization amount should be representative of the expected maximum transaction value. Please configure it wisely.
