Why can’t a driver add a third-party RFID card to the Charge Assist app?

Answer

• The Charge Assist app only accepts cards that belong to the Greenflux EMSP Network and ad-hoc payments (credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay)

• Cards from third-party eMSP roaming partners (e.g. Shell Recharge, Plugsurfing) cannot be added to the app

• If you try to add an unsupported card, you'll see this message: "Card is not supported in the app anymore. You can still start a session by swiping it at the station."

• The reason for disallowing this is to prevent fraudulent activities, such as the copying of RFID cards and the use of these cards without authorisation.
