Private Communication Plan and APN
The GreenFlux SIM Cards by default are set up with our Private Communication Plan with our Private APN.
This setup uses our fully secure VPN Tunnel, and is the best solution for most use cases with built-in network security for all types of charge stations, older and newest generations.

Public Communication Plan and APN
It is possible on special request, to request GreenFlux via your Customer Success Manager, that one or multiple of your SIM cards will be switched to our Public Communication Plan and our Public APN.
This setup allows for some special use cases:
- Parallel connections of a charge station with the GreenFlux backend and with the manufacturer's backend (common on certain DC charge station products)
- Remote access to the web interface of the charge station (if the charge station supports it)
It is strongly recommended to connect charge stations over the Public Communication Plan using our secure web socket server connection (WSS instead of WS) in order to maintain a secure connection. Therefore only more recent generations of charge stations can be supported with the Public setup.
