Intro
Themes in EvPortal are used to customize the look of EvPortal by defining the tenant logo, tenant favicon (the icon shown in a browser's tab), and primary theme colors. The theme can be assigned to every EvPortal user during adding or editing EvPortal users process, so when a user logs in to the EvPortal his/her company logo will be displayed.
Use case: If you want to give your B2B customer access to the EvPortal, you can create a separate theme and assign it to the users from that customer. When they log in to the EvPortal their logo will be displayed and colors will be aligned with their corporate branding, so users have a feeling that they are operating under their system.
Creating a theme
Step 1
On the left menu in the EvPortal navigate to the Tenant management section -> Themes

Click on the 'Create New Theme' button

Fill in the required info
- Theme name - usually the customer's name.
- Under Contact Info and Contact Address part you can add more details about the customer.
- Default account type - defines the default account type that will be selected during Adding EvPortal users process. If in the theme local is selected as the default account type, when someone in a tenant where that theme is active, creates a new user, it will have 'local' selected for the account type. The same applies to the Active Directory account type. EvPortal users have the possibility to change account type regardless of what is selected on the theme level.
- Upload the logo and the favicon in .jpg, .jpeg, or .png format. There are no special requirements concerning the picture's size.
- Primary theme colors - Enter a HEX value for a new primary color or use the color picker. Other system colors can't be changed.
Step 4
Click on the 'Save' button.
