We are going to apply the new tables functionalities to the user table
What's new button
The table with new functionalities have now a "See what's new in table" button on the top right of the screen .Clicking on the button, user is redirected to knowledge hub article that shows how the new functionalities works
Right click
User can now perform a right click on the column to see the available option for the record.
With this first release, the options that are provided by the right click are also available in the action button at the end of the record. As long as the user getting familiar with the new UX, the action button will be slowly removed.
Column shuffle
User is now able to shuffle and order the columns of the table.
The action can be done in two different way:
- Right click on the column title
- Holding the column and moving with the mouse into the desired position
Custom views
User will be able to save up to three customised views that are displayed in the top bar, below the title
User can switch between them by juts selecting the tab with the name
How can the user define and save the views?
User can add or hide column as we do now by using the "Columns" button or the filter.
When the desired columns are displayed in the overview, user can adapt the table based on his preferences.Β This can be done by clicking with right click on the column or just by clicking and dragging manually the column.
At this point, a new option will be exposed in the top bar, close to the existing ones, "Save View".
Clicking on this option user can provide a name and save the view as display in the image below
User can also make it default
The result is that, on top of the default view, now the table has a new view that is called "Hello"
States of view
Each view that are saved can be saved as default, and new added views can be removed.
These action can be done directly on the tab as displayed in te image below
