What's New
Additional validation for ChargeLocation address fields will be introduced. When creating or updating a location the Street and HouseNumber properties will be validated to have a total length of 45 characters when combined.
This will prevent the creation of locations on our platform that are not compliant with the OCPI protocol.
Impact on existing locations
For all locations that already follow these stricter rules there will be zero impact. Existing locations that exceed the maximum combined length will receive a validation error when they are updated. There are very few locations that do not pass the stricter validation. Our CSM team will reach out to customers that have locations that do not pass the new validation so that they may be updated.
